Your Role

Join our dynamic Pharmacy Analytics & Finance team, which plays a crucial role in shaping the future of pharmacy services through innovative strategies. As the Senior Principal, Pharmacy Medical Informaticist, you will work directly with the Senior Director of Actuarial Management to drive key initiatives in contract negotiations, pricing models for self-funded employer groups, formulary modifications, product innovation, and performance evaluations. Your expertise will be fundamental to our Pharmacy Reimagined strategy.

Your Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field; equivalent work experience will be considered.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the industry.
• At least 5 years of experience in Health Care settings, including managed care, academic institutions, government payers, or Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBM) or consulting firms.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools, specifically SAS and Excel.
• In-depth knowledge of Pharmacy Benefit Manager operations and pricing structures.
• Expertise in pharmacy rebate systems and network dynamics, essential for effective financial and pricing modeling.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Preferred candidates will hold an MPH, MBA, MS, MA, RN, or RHIA in health science, quantitative social science, public health, health services research, or business.
• Comprehension of the evolving pharmacy landscape, especially the shift from traditional pharmacy benefit managers towards modular solutions and a focus on 'net cost' over rebates.
• Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, accompanied by exceptional teamwork and collaboration capabilities.
