Job Summary
Administer TMS lease accounts; respond to pricing/bid request; utilize pricing tools that aid the company in achieving its overall financial objectives. Responsible for membership of the National Account groups. Position has extensive contact with sales reps.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Administer TMS lease accounts to include developing new and improved ways to administer the lease contracts for US, Canada and Puerto Rico.
- Respond to bid and RFP requests for both TMS and AMS products.
- Provide opportunity for expansion of supply sales through web searches for new bid opportunities.
- Administer vendor registration and required sales reports for state bid business.
- Administer pricing loads in JDE for: one-time loads, special spec items, individual customer prices and bid prices; including adjustments to these prices throughout the year.
- Create/maintain records for Bid Log, Competitive tabulations and Confirmations in order to minimize response times and improve effectiveness.
- Perform membership updates received from the National Account groups. Load all updated information in the ATR sales database system, JDE and Magento.
- Research and update National account fields and other pertinent information in the ATR Sales database from applicable database, websites and other sources in order for sales reps to have accurate data to utilize.
- Request and provide Certificate of Insurance to customers and venues.
- Month End Report for Inside sales complete inside sales report after received from Finance.
- Train new sales representatives on bids, leases, pricing policies/procedures, membership information and ATR Sales database fields.
- Serve as a support person for the National Account department regarding the JDE system, ATR Sales database and reports when others are out of the office.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Working knowledge of PC's and related software, must have extensive Excel knowledge
- Strong analytical, telephone, verbal, writing and interpersonal skills and be goal oriented.
- Able to set and meet priorities, establish work plans and objectives, maintain adequate controls and provide management feedback, and perform duties under only general supervision.
- Present a professional personal and corporate image and exercise discretion and independent judgement in carrying out assigned responsibilities and negotiate problem situations to an equitable resolution.
Education and Experience
- College degree, business, finance or marketing preferred.
- Prior experience in quoting and responding to bids for multiple product proposals is preferred.
- Knowledge of institutional food service industry and/or healthcare system is desired.
