Description
Lead Financial & Pricing AnalystThe Lead Financial & Pricing Analyst will be responsible for program control functions including financial analysis, variance analysis and forecasting on Prime and subcontract contracts. This Analyst will review and/or submit any required contractual financial deliverables required for a contract portfolio. In addition, they will perform new business and current contract pricing. This person will also work closely with Business Development for pricing requirements for new business proposals. The person will also be the lead analyst for all project control and pricing for Aegis with oversight responsibilities for the project control and pricing. This position reports directly to the Director of Contracts, Project Control, and Pricing and will interface externally with customers and internally with Management and Project Managers on all aspects of contract performance and pricing deliverables including preparing required Contractor reports and monitoring and reporting on contract cost performance.
- Responsible for Direct Budget/Forecast Process for Existing and Pending Contracts including integration with indirect cost planning
- Prepares monthly financial reports as required
- Assist with Project set up efforts based on Contract and Contract Modification requirements
- Works directly with PMs on variance analysis, planning, and development of budget and forecast models
- Complete pricing templates and other pricing requirements for new business proposals and current contracts.
- Works with Business Development on new business pricing
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or a directly related field from an accredited College or University with greater than 10 years of experience working government programs and cost reporting and/or Government Pricing
- Strong computer skills utilizing MS Office especially advanced Excel, Access, and Business Intelligence Tools
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Effective communication /presentation skills
- DOD cost reporting formats, NASA 533 Reporting and Task Order Management experience
- Experienced in Proposal Support
- Experience using Deltek / CostPoint Systems
- Experience in Government Cost Accounting and FAR preferred
