Our location in Columbus, OH, currently has an opportunity for a Sr, Business Analyst for Pediatric Contracting. Reporting to the Supervisor Pediatric Contracting, the Senior Business Analyst Pediatric Contracting Commercial Operations will be responsible for managing the daily processing of CORS requests, including but not limited to creating new Pediatric Agreements, amendments, providing analytics and processing various Adhoc reporting requests. Sr. Business Analyst will work closely with Pediatric Sales Operations team, Pediatric FSF and AN legal to ensure requests are being processed in a timely manner.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop a deep understanding of Abbott Nutrition's pediatric customers and pediatric pricing strategy
- Provide supporting analytics to forecast contract admin fee payments and carryout the processing of these payments. (Interpret Term and Conditions to process GPO admin fee payments accurately and on time.)
- Evaluate, edit, and draft Terms and Conditions for various hospital and GPO customers using both Abbott Nutrition and customer templates.
- Leverages data analysis to provide insights and recommendations during Hospital and Group Purchasing Organization contract negotiations and deal developments.
- Work closely with Sales Operations to implement customer pricing solutions.
- Develop relationships across the organization and collaborate with others to identify opportunities.
- Prioritizes requests, adhering to timelines, based on the return on investment for Abbott and recommends optimal solutions based on business needs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Proficient in Excel, COGNOS, CORS and SAP
- Ability to review and understand Terms and Conditions and propose changes to adhere to Abbott Nutrition's policies. Ability to conduct independent research and complex customer/financial analysis to identify and solve problems in a constantly changing environment
- Work experience in healthcare industry and contracting is a plus
