What does a great Pricing Analyst do?
As a Pricing Analyst at Fiserv, you will analyze, prepare, and verify costs for offset, digital and transactional printing, and mail services, as requested in project proposals and contracts. You will be responsible for creating estimates for Instant Issue solutions and managing the pricing and quotations database.
As a Pricing Analyst, you can look forward to:
- Translating sales rep and account manager production requests into Instant Issue solutions, printing, and mail formats.
- Analyzing jobs to create and plan estimates of production and labor costs, involved in formatting actual and proposed project systems and specifications.
- Reviewing and analyzing proposed specifications, sketches, and layouts to provide cost-effective pricing.
- Creating Instant Issue estimates from templates based on needs and platforms.
- Managing specific inventory items.
- Being the local purchasing specialist for FDS and Purchase Point job related purchasing.
- Locating vendors for materials and outside work, obtaining and evaluating competitive bids and schedules, recommending production alternatives.
- Maintaining records and reporting information required to track market bid analysis and opportunity outcomes for multiple locations.
- Working in a team environment.
- Assisting other departments with purchasing and costing information as required.
- Managing the data input and content of the company's Pricing Database, managing data extractions that aid with current job quotes.
- Assisting with other projects and tasks as required by management.
Basic qualifications for consideration:
- Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years equivalent experience in production methods and technical printing related functions
Preferred qualifications for consideration:
- Ability to work estimates individually and package/programs
- Leadership skills, effective communication, project support
