Position can be based at a US Medtronic site or remote in the US.
The position is responsible for developing and executing US pricing strategy for Medtronic Diabetes Operating Unit. This specialist strategic pricing role will address US pricing from both strategic and tactical perspectives, across new product launch, ongoing portfolio pricing strategy, governance and insights.
Success in this role is dependent on the ability to interact with a range of stakeholders, up through senior management, as well as the ability to assemble and integrate a wide range of data, structured and unstructured in various formats and systems, to measure results, uncover insights, and drive actionable recommendations.

A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
• Recognized master in Pricing Strategy professional discipline • Recommends positions for pricing strategies for current and future products across all relevant customer and market segments • Develops and communicates short to long-term strategic, financial, and administrative implications of proposed and/or implemented pricing policy • Facilitate US Pricing Council and price escalations • Plan and develop market research and analysis • Strongly influences the design of new products, processes, standards, or operational plans based on business strategy • Typically manages large, moderately complex initiatives of strategic importance to the organization, involving large cross-functional teams • Implement global pricing function best practices and programs within US
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting (8+ years with an Advanced degree)
Nice to Have
• Previous Pricing functional experience within healthcare industry • Understanding and experience in US healthcare payer and reimbursement environment – including managed care, pharmacy and government • Project Management knowledge and experience • MBA/CPA/CMA
