We are hiring a Senior Manager, Network Programs. This is a remote role, based in the U.S.
This position is responsible for the ongoing management of the USON programs such as contemporary model, telemedicine, and other network wide programs.
The senior manager is responsible for coordinating with multiple McKesson groups and managing the overall program needs such as understanding the contemporary model and leading a cross-functional team to provide on-going oversight related to the portfolio, total cost of the portfolio, level of practice adoption, total cost at each practice, and practice contribution to technology costs.
In addition, the senior manager is responsible for the assigned solution(s) to act as the program owner on behalf of McKesson. Responsibilities include understanding each solution’s business value, the MSA and Practice SOW, ensuring successful implementations through oversight of project teams, managing key program decisions through establishing program governance models and overseeing solution roadmap via coordination with cross functional McKesson business groups responsible for various aspects of the solution including vendor management, product development, technology portfolio management, practice success etc.
Contemporary Model Program Leadership
Serves the US Oncology Network as a cross functional liaison between Finance, Network IT, Communication and Marketing, Operations and Network Shared services driving cohesive coordination and collaboration to support the operational and subsequent cost transformation of the Contemporary model by:
Partnering with Network IT and MTO to develop current state landscape assessments, future state operating model and enterprise standards, and transformation road maps by practice once aligned with practice leadership.
Supporting finance to finalize total IT cost transparency at the Network level and driving development of practice specific total cost of ownership data packages for practice IT consumption.
Partnering with Network leadership to develop appropriate network physician audience testing and joint development sessions.
Partnering with Network communications to develop messaging, timeline and collateral for transformation program including value proposition and change management toolkit
Driving accountability with Legal for review and recommendations by practice specific MSA clauses to allow for transformation of practice IT cost model.
Establishing a cross functional governance structure to drive program timelines, accountability and reporting to network leadership to ensure overall program delivery and timeliness
Serving as the “single point of coordination” across all workstreams to enable joint success and practice engagement.
Escalating issues, risks, and requirements/ decision to Network leadership on a timely basis.
Other Program Management
Serves as the program leader for assigned Network programs such as Telemedicine. As the cross functional program lead between the Practice, McKesson teams such as Strategy, Finance, Network IT, Communication and Marketing, Operations and Network Shared service, responsible for overall program management including the following:
Coordinates the New Solutions approval process of identified solutions. Related to the program
Coordinates development of MSA for McKesson, as well as individual SOW’s for interested practices.
Works with IT operations to enable product demos for the Practices and McKesson teams as needed.
Ensures to identify and leverage the subject matter experts for technology implementation and interdependencies meet program deliverables.
Serves as key program lead for customer(s) and maintains oversight on each implementation project in The Network.
Responsible for overall customer satisfaction relating to program deliverables including implementations.
Institutes and manages a governance structure to enable key decisions and execution of key program deliverables including strategy, pricing, solutions, implementations etc.
Collaborate with technology solution owners, business office managers and customers to identify opportunities to drive / accelerate solution enhancements.
Continually reviews vendor capabilities to Practice needs through the program governance groups
Establishes practice/network goals, manages and reports on progress throughout the year.
Leadership and Communication
Exhibits leadership throughout the lifecycle of program/project by meeting customer expectations. Provides overall project leadership.
Effectively communicate with customers, vendors, key stakeholders and management on all aspects of programs/projects.
Develops and maintains customers, vendors, staff, and management relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.
Provides leadership and guidance to project team members to ensure they successfully achieve their goals and objectives.
Manages internal/external communications and provide regular project updates to Sr. Leadership.
7+ years’ experience in a healthcare related field leading projects and running programs.
Strong project management and change management experience in matrix environment
Previous experience in vendor and contractor management.
Able to manage high performance cross-functional teams from an organizational, interpersonal and technical perspective.
Must possess the ability to work independently, organize work effectively and take initiative in fast-paced work environment while managing multiple tasks and deliverables simultaneously.
Possess strong business and technical writing abilities, including presentation skills.
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Experience in oncology or specialty care settings is preferred.
PMP certification is a plus.
Six Sigma training, preferably in a health care setting.
Able to identify process improvement ideas for gaining operational efficiency.
Four-year degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Advanced degree in Health Care Services, Health Care Administration or MBA preferred.
Travel required, up to 50%.
Potential evening and weekend meetings with physician partners.
Must be authorized to work in the US. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
Telecommuting is allowed.
