FAC is currently searching for a Pricing Analyst in our corporate headquarters in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Key responsibilities include:
Work closely with business operations pricing management and functional groups to confirm/develop pricing strategies and determine optimal prices in order to achieve strategic objectives.
Support the development and maintenance of corporate pricing policies, including strategic pricing agreements
Analyze and process price requests submitted by the Sales organization
Work with parent company to establish strategic pricing consistent with transfer pricing guidelines
Support analysis of new product pricing and system project quoting as required.
Perform ROI analysis.
Perform assigned financial analysis to support key business objectives.
Maintain pricing records used for detailed comparative and trend analysis
Communicate effectively with management regarding proposals and targeted profit improvement initiatives.
Understand price agreement policy requirements
Lead initiatives to improve processes
Ideal candidate will have the following experience/skills and education:
BS/BA Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field or equivalent relevant experience.
Ideal candidate would have 3-5 years of pricing experience in a manufacturing environment.
Progressive accounting and financial analysis experience.
Manufacturing / Automotive Industry experience preferred.
Experience working with senior management preferred.
Excellent organizational skills and an ability to manage many tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines and producing high quality results.
Strong ability to process, analyze and summarize complex business information using advanced Excel and database techniques.
Aptitude to learn and work with various financial systems and databases.
Customer focused, ability to work independently as well as accustomed to working in a team environment
