As the entry position into our Client Sales and Relationship Management Department (Strategic
Accounts) the Financial Analyst role blends learning the financial aspects of our large clients with assisting the team with Sales, Pricing, Research, Analysis, and Reporting.
These functions will require the candidate to research and analyze selected data and information from resources associated with the real estate industry or financial markets as appropriate.
The information that is collected will need to be analyzed from a real estate perspective and converted into clearly understandable reports.
Knowledge of CBRE corporate financials, client SEC filings, 10 Q/K's, and other research avenues such as Bloomberg, Dunn and Bradstreet, CoStar, etc. will be required.
This position will have extensive interaction with both internal and external customers, and
requires effective communication and customer service skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support pricing efforts for national/regional customer proposals. Entails coordinating assumptions and input from business development and market leaders, analyzing outcomes, and maintaining the standard pricing model.
Build financial analyses and charts to track and measure key metrics and trends, including square footage and portfolio analysis, financial metrics, and sales pipeline data.
Maintain and monitor ongoing sales related and portfolio reporting, both for internal as well as external uses.
Prepare various presentations for leadership that provide an overview of key metrics and trends including square footage and sales pipeline data (Quarterly Business Reviews, Investor Services calls, etc.).
Collect data for various ad-hoc projects. Consolidate, summarize and format data for reporting, analysis and presentation to leadership.
Conduct diagnostic commercial real estate company searches and draft literature reviews.
Evaluate financial company and portfolio information and recommend strategy; Assist in oversight of client specific projects across multiple geographies to ensure consistency from the field for data input and assure timely response.
Responsible to organize and manage project scheduling, timetables and overall timeliness of the project completion.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in a business-related field. One to two years related work experience preferred.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
Ability to accurately consolidate, analyze and present information to be tailored to a wide range of audiences, including middle managers and senior leadership
Ability to provide efficient, timely, and reliable responses to inquiries from clients, co-workers, supervisor, and/or management
Requires knowledge of basic financial terms, concepts, and principles
Conduct financial analysis based on external and internal financial and market data
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret financial information and the ability to accurately explain/report activity in verbal and written communications
Requires intermediate analytical skills and ability to work with a large amount of data
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) required; experience with tools such as Salesforce, Oracle BI, Visio, Tableau, and similar tools preferred
Ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines and priorities
