Perform and optimize price system to meet marketing, financial, and corporate growth needs and objectives. Provide pricing analysis, pricing system enhancement, and ongoing pricing system management to AMER group consistent with Simon-Kutcher pricing diagnostic project, including:
Analyze pricing requirements, market conditions to identify profit opportunities
Ensure pricing in multiple systems is accurate and consistent with a long-term goal of full integration into one system
Create pricing format that matches TenCate IT system, e.g., transfer suggested changes of prices from Excel hand-over documents into TenCate IT system
Update Pricing system monthly and communicate new lists
Prepare data analysis to identify deeper segmentation of products and/or customers, and management of outliers
Build in market related feedback loops that allow to track successful implementation via target KPIs and make appropriate suggestions for changes to Pricing Manager
Write Pricing Policy and Guideline that reflects TCG processes and expectations, distribute to and train group regularly.
Propose enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and usability for management and field sales personnel.
Responsible for ensuring that pricing systems are working properly.
Team with Sales leadership, Region Sales Managers (ie, field sales), and Pricing Manager to provide clear, concise and accurate responses to pricing process and price policy questions
Continuously monitor, audit, and analyze pricing activity to assure systematic risks are identified and corrected, sales training issues are identified and addressed, and pricing formulas and tables are properly maintained for approved pricing changes
Review and analyze pricing and profitability and make appropriate recommendations to the Pricing Manager
Design Pricing Activity reports and KPIs and perform routine maintenance of pricing activity reports to assure on going visibility of pricing activities and the ability to evaluate integrity of the pricing and discounting processes
