Develop and execute pricing analysis activities supporting the Spectrum Reach Political Sales, National Sales and Enterprise teams. Support Field Pricing, Planning and Inventory (PPI) team in the development of logical data-driven political rate cards, review competitive market political pricing using the Pharos tool, and partner with Political team and PPMs to identify actionable pricing insights. Develop reporting to validate LUR protection within markets. Support quick and accurate pricing adjustments with a bias for action.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the Political and National Sales team in multi-market efforts. Support PPM team with pricing support, historical data gathering and coordination for larger accounts as requested.
Provide a point of contact for the Enterprise Sales team on pricing inquiries. Support enterprise vertical initiatives with guidance around market conditions and assist in campaign stewardship activities with campaign snapshots and CPM/CPP performance tracking.
Support inventory valuation activities for Stamford Corporate teams, including valuation analytics and reporting for contractual cross-channel activities, charitable/public service announcement activities, programmer activity analysis and other full-footprint analytics
Coordinate all activities with field pricing support team to ensure consistency of pricing guidance
Support PPM analytical needs as needed, including development of “starting point” political rate card recommendations and periodic reviews of market political performance
Support and “tune” logical “rate architecture” for political across the linear inventory footprint
Adapt inventory valuation methods to support enterprise and Charter Corporate reporting needs
Support the development of analytical platforms
4+ years’ experience in related media and/or advertising pricing experience with a proven successful track record working with a diverse product portfolio
3+ years’ experience preferred in pricing development and implementation experience
Superior quantitative and analytical skills, including expertise in Office applications, data visualization tools (such as Tableau), and/or statistical analysis packages (such as R)
Experience with and an understanding of media tools such as InnVision, Strata, Pharos and/or Eclipse
Experience with cross-platform media
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
Ability to understand, communicate, and implement data-driven solutions
Knowledge of advertising and media metrics, including ratings, CPM, CPP, etc.
Ability to understand multiple viewpoints and collaborate with others
Knowledge of advertising research, operations, data analytics, finance and yield management
Strong organizational skills
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Business/Finance/Economics, Computer Science, Communication/Media/Advertising, Political Science or related field (or compensating professional experience)
