JOB SUMMARY Lead and support Pricing, Planning & Inventory (PPI) Field team in the development and execution of effective pricing actions. Enhance and lead a hybrid centralized/distributed pricing team to build enterprise-wide ad pricing for Spectrum Reach zones, interconnects, and other relevant geographies. Work across functional boundaries to communicate and help deliver pricing and inventory solutions. Report to Director, Strategic Pricing and Inventory.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead a team of Pricing professionals that is responsible for driving Spectrum Reach’s PPI goals
Oversee the development and execution of data-driven rate development systems and processes
Responsible for reducing rate revision cycle times which will lead to a more dynamic linear pricing environment
Support the diffusion of best practices and techniques in pricing across Spectrum Reach
Deliver reliable pricing analytics
Foster adherence to Spectrum Reach pricing approaches across sales channels and products
4+ years’ experience in a multi-market media and/or advertising pricing experience
3+ years’ of leadership experience at manager level or higher.
Knowledge of advertising and media metrics, including ratings, CPM, CPP, etc.
Understanding of complex inventory environments
Strong ability to understand, communicate, and implement data-driven solutions
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
Ability to coordinate multiple viewpoints and integrate them into a cohesive solution
Strong functional knowledge of advertising research, operations, data analytics, and yield management
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Understanding of the cross-platform media and advertising landscape
Exposure to and understanding of media tools such as InnVision, Strata, and/or Eclipse
Experience with cross-platform media
Knowledge of advertising research, operations, data analytics, finance and yield management
Strong organizational skills
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Business/Finance/Economics, Computer Science, Communication/Media/Advertising, Political Science or related field
