Working directly with our Clients and their Suppliers, our independently contracted specialists ensure that parts, assemblies and tooling are delivered on time and at a fair and reasonable price.
We're seeking a Cost/Price Analyst to audit suppliers and report results to our clients.
The Cost/Price Analyst will produce Cost Price Analysis Reports utilizing data gathered during on-site reviews of Suppliers proposals in accordance with FAR 15.4.
Responsibilities will include performing a variety of analytical duties related to audit and analysis of complex supplier proposals covered by the Federal Acquisition Regulations.
Performance of detailed on-site “fact finds”
Analysis of supplier proposals, their basis of estimating, and all supporting data
Production of detailed reports that can form the basis for negotiations between our clients and their suppliers
Making recommendations pursuant to the allocation of costs and the reliability of the suppliers’ estimating systems and or techniques.
Determining the adequacy of the supplier’s financial conditions and accounting practices with regard to the acceptability of price proposals.

You will work largely independently from your home office with occasional travel (~15 to 25%) to client and supplier locations. You do not have to live in Connecticut to take this assignment. Anywhere in the Northeast is okay. It is also okay to respond to this ad if you live elsewhere in the USA as we have upcoming assignments in other areas.
** THIS IS AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR POSITION. ** We pay a competitive hourly rate, and we reimburse for project related expenses including local mileage.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
10 plus years Cost/Price Audit experience in the Aerospace Industry.
A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
His or her own laptop and smartphone.
Experience in the Aerospace industry is required.
