This position reports to Aftermarket Pricing Manager and is a key Pricing team member for all pricing activity within the global Aftermarket group. The Pricing Analyst position is a key member of brand leadership and will be challenged with development and implementation of pricing strategy and policies that will help differentiate Spicer Light, Heavy axle and Driveshaft service parts leading to sales and EBIT growth. In addition, the Pricing Analyst will:
• Provide direction & manage pricing & modeling processes and improve efficiency & consistency among the existing product groups • Achieve on-time delivery of price files, customer impact studies, GM analysis, std. cost changes as part of annual price changes • Develop and provide usable, market modeling output to support the achievement of sales & profit expectations as defined by AOP • Establish & maintain service prices and discounts per the strategic direction developed within Brand group • Develop and maintain ongoing market research data and competitive analysis including total market size, Dana entitlement, share of demand analysis, competitive price position, and product life cycle analysis. Manage internal and external market data and research contacts • Manage daily special quoting activity and support new business proforma analysis • Maintain database of parts quoted as requested by customer requests, daily orders, and government bids • Responsible for all customer price files within the SAP/Price f(x) IT systems. This includes data, such as base price files, special offer and promotional files, customer specific interchanges, lead times, and COO when price changes occur.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering disciplines • 3-5 years of experience in pricing or a comparable function. • Experience incorporating price into a strategic marketing portfolio • Proven track record of high performance in managing complex analytical/strategic pricing projects • Advanced EXCEL skills • Excellent analytical skills • Strong interpersonal and proven leadership skills • Experience with Price f(x) or similar pricing software a Plus
